How to View and Customize the Collateral Assets (Trading Account)
21 days ago · Updated on

Zoomex's Trading Account offers a wide range of coins as collateral and borrowable assets.

Collateral assets in Trading Account are assets that traders provide as collateral to secure and support their trading activities without selling the settlement assets. They can be used as margin balance to secure users’ borrowings, open and maintain positions, and also to cover potential losses resulting from Derivatives positions. Currently, traders have the flexibility to customize the assets to be used as collateral from the Trading Account page.

How to View The Supported Collateral Assets

To view details of collateral assets and borrowable assets, go to the Trading Account page.
If the Collateral toggle is turned on, the asset can be used as collateral for opening positions.

How to Customize Collateral Asset Settings

Before customizing collateral asset settings, please note the following:

  1. Collateral asset customization is only available in Trading Account Cross Margin Mode.

  2. USDT and USDC cannot be customized and are automatically used as collateral assets.

  3. If disabling a collateral asset would cause the initial margin ratio to reach or exceed 80%, customization will not be allowed.

  4. To avoid negative impacts on the initial margin ratio and maintenance margin ratio, collateral asset settings cannot be enabled if the wallet balance of any non-collateral asset is negative.

  5. Collateral asset customization is not available for institutional accounts.

To customize collateral asset settings, hover over the asset label and click Trading Account.
Toggle the switch on or off to enable or disable the asset as collateral.
