I. Product Overview

1. What is Zoomex Card?
Zoomex Card is a multi-currency virtual debit card (Mastercard) launched in partnership with the financial service provider UR. It allows users to directly convert digital assets in their Zoomex account into fiat currency and make payments at Mastercard-supported online merchants worldwide.
 
2. Card Type:
- Currently only virtual cards are supported (Virtual Card): issued and available for use immediately after successful application
- Not supported: physical cards and ATM cash withdrawals
 
3. Key Features:
- Online payments: suitable for global e-commerce, subscription services, and various apps
- Mobile payments: fully compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay
- Multi-currency support: natively supports USD, CHF, EUR, SGD, HKD, JPY
 

II. Application and Activation

1. Eligibility:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Users must reside in countries or regions supported by UR and must not hold any restricted nationality
- Must complete identity verification (KYC) required by UR
 
2. Application Process:
- Account linking: click Apply on the Zoomex platform to link or register a UR account
- KYC verification: upload identity documents (such as a passport or ID card) on the UR page. The verification process is usually completed within minutes (subject to actual review)
- Card activation and details: after approval, you will be redirected to UR via a secure link to view full card details including card number, expiry date, and CVV, and manage card functions such as freeze/unfreeze
 

III. Asset Management and Fees

1. Deposit:
- Supports converting USDC into USD, CHF, EUR, SGD, HKD, JPY to load the card
- Crypto conversion fee: 1.0%
 
2. Spending Fees:
- 0% fee for same-currency spending: when the payment currency matches the card balance currency and sufficient funds are available (e.g., paying a USD bill with a USD balance)
- Cross-currency spending incurs FX conversion: if currencies do not match, UR and Mastercard will apply standard exchange rates, typically around 1.0%–2.0% (subject to final settlement)
 
3. Transfer Back:
- Unspent fiat balance on the card can be transferred back to Zoomex at any time
- Fee: 0% (no crypto conversion fee)
*Transfer Back is currently unavailable for Hong Kong residents.

 

IV. Card Freeze and Cancellation

If you suspect your card details have been compromised, please go to your UR account page immediately and use the “Freeze” option, or contact UR support to request card suspension.
